Psalm 103:13-14 (ESV)
13 As a father shows compassion to his children,
so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.
14 For he knows our frame;
he remembers that we are dust.
Once a year, our church invites an amazing husband and wife duo, Out of the Dust, to a small gathering to share their music. Chris and Stephanie Teague not only sing heartfelt and inspiring melodies, they share their beautiful testimonies. Their story is a prime example of how heartbreak and faithlessness can be transformed through the redemptive power of God.
There is an underlying message through it all; even when all hope appears to be lost, God will see us through. He sees us through the storms, the valleys, and the darkness and safely places us back in His loving arms. Though we may be broken and covered in sin, our weaknesses are made strong in Him. Our purpose is restored and we may begin anew.
Though their spring concerts and summer tour was cancelled, you can still hear their music! I can promise you the uplifting songs will bring levity and light to you in this crazy time.
